Why have I been writing so much?

Hey all. I have been writing a lot because I enjoy writing and am trying to get better at it. Practice makes perfect, right? 

So, if you see something you like or don't like whether its with respect to content or elements of style, etc. I would appreciate it if you would let me know. As I am really trying to improve I'm not trying to fish for compliments (although they are always welcome :). Also, I have pretty thick skin when it comes to criticism so feel free to say whatever you like as almost all input is helpful. Not only does it help my writing but it creates a fun dialogue.
